I will be forever thankful to my friend Gloria from the Cook County Library Group for recommending her.<br /> Gloria had told me matter-of-factly: "Call my agent Michele Glance Rooney. She may not always tell you what you want to hear, but she will tell you what you need to hear and need to know to get your book published. Michele Glance Rooney is an agent who knows what it takes to sell a romance novel."<br /> So I'm glad I listened. I'm glad I re-wrote the action scene when the pirates first captured Amanda like she advised me too. At the time, it seemed like a lot of work. But as I look back on it now I can see that what Michele recommended really made sense.
